But there is much more to the name than thats:

The Greek word Arete stands for excellence and quality - qualities that Silvia & Emanuel embody at Aretia in Santa Cristina in Val Gardena.

In French, arrêter also means to pause - perfect for taking a break in our apartments.

And the Ladin language - the language of the Val Gardena valley - recalls the region’s deep roots with a raetia: the Roman province of Raetia in the Dolomites.
